Great all around kitchen tool….A must have

I couldn't be happier with this product! I make smoothies often and years ago I had a similar blender so when I saw this product I was excited to give this one a try. First off it comes with so many great accessories. I've tried all of them and each one works really well with the handle. There are so many different speeds and settings that you can find just the right setting for each accessory. The motor runs really well and it's not obnoxiously loud like some blenders I've used in the past. Each accessory locks into the handle tight. Not one sits loose. I really like using the whisk because I have a mini electronic whisk but it's lowest speed is still just too fast and this product has just the right speed I was looking for. The accessory that dices and chops works so well. I used it to chop up some vegetables and I was amazed how well it worked. My favorite thing to make with this product is smoothies. It comes with a plastic cup and I can drop some frozen bananas, strawberries and some milk and put the immersion blender into the cup and it blends so well. Being able to lift the blender up and down as I blend makes it so much easier than using a normal blender where you have to keep turning it on and off and using the pulse setting or having to keep shaking the blender to get it to blend evenly. There are a few of my old blenders and whisks I was able to toss out and start fresh with this product because it really does it all. I highly recommend it!

We currently have a trusty older KitchenAid 2-speed immersion blender parked in a drawer. Its 200W motor feels inadequate compared to the 1000W beast of a motor that this Gogocook model is working with. It's considerably heavier and appears like it could easy handle some abuse. I appreciate the rubberized surface of the blender head. If you accidentally dial in the speed too high, it won't scratch up your non-stick/enameled cookware when the head gets violently sucked to the bottom of the pot. I mistakenly pressed the Turbo button and was simultaneously startled and impressed by the feature.I don't have a need for the whisk, milk frother, and the chopping attachment, but they're all thoughtful inclusions for those who may need them.I went against my better judgement and tried to blend whole ice cubes into a pitcher of frozen drinks. It worked painstakingly slower than I was anticipating. I don't recommend the practice because the 4-blade design doesn't allow much space to work effectively with bigger, denser ingredients. You'll run the risk of premature motor failure, or dulling/bending the blades. It fared better with crushed ice. I wish it had more legible markings to show what speed it's dialed to. Overall, I believe the stick blender is more than capable for what I need and it's priced fairly. If you treat the motor sensibly, it should provide many years of service.
